BIA

Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis: A quick, painless measure of body composition done at your baby’s bedside

PEA POD

A device that measures body composition by Air Displacement Plethysmography (ADP)

MRI

Magnetic Resonance Imaging: A scan that produces images of the brain

EEG

Electroencephalogram: A measure of brain activity at rest

ERP

Event Related Potential: A measure of brain processing speed in response to a sound or image

ANTHROPOMETRICS

– Weight, length, and head circumference
– All are clinically necessary… we will just get them a few days earlier than they would typically be measured
